The Story Behind DavidDavidCartoons
In March of 2020, when the pandemic hit, comics, and all entertainers, lost their gigs. After of few months of no work it was obvious I had to find a new way to make people laugh.
Fortunately, I knew Guy David Gazit. He’s a great animator/illustrator. We started working on turning my stand-up comedy material into cartoons. And, I’ll be darned, we created a whole new way to make people happy. That’s what DavidDavidCartoons is all about. It’s our pleasure to present these illustrations to you.
I can think of several places where people could hang these illustrations. First, the toilet. Most people read in the bathroom. I don’t feel like I’m denigrating my work because these illustrations are perfect for the toilet. Brilliant ideas come in the bathroom. Some of our cartoons are philosophically sophisticated enough to be hung in an office. Which shows people just how sophisticated you are. Or hang’em in a hallway, an unpretentious place to display your taste. Where guests can see your inner hilarity. And they might want to know where you got your cartoon. Which for us would be a boon. Money, money, money, we love referrals.
Remember, no order is too large.
So please, take your time, select as many as you like. Then pick a few for your friends to show them the depth of your perception of them. Make sure they’re good friends.
And of course, feel free to contact us about anything; like climate change, evolution, the origins of consciousness, the difference between people souls and animal souls – if there is one, or the answer to the question; heaven – a myth or a place, et cetera?

DAVID ZASLOFF
Creator and Writer
As a comic David Zasloff performed in prisons, corporate events, nursing homes, nightclubs, universities, AA, NA, CA, CEA-HOW, OA conventions, jazz clubs, churches, temples, affairs of state, weddings, bar mitvahs and one briss.
As a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and film composer, David plays trumpet, shofar (rams horn), piano, congas, cahon, guitar, autoharp, harmonica and is considered to be a master Japanese shakuhachi flute player.
David played Japanese flute on the multi-million selling CD, “Meteora” by Linkin Park. His music has been played on T.V’s. “The Young and the Restless.” He was musical director for 14 Comedy Channel shows and musical director for one Showtime Special. He wrote the music for the movies, “Me and Freud,” “A She Wolf in A Mexican Woman’s Prison,” and “Dracula In A Woman’s Prison.”
As an author David wrote “The Complete Book of Everything, Part I. Second Edition” and “The Joy of Suffering.”
David now joins with illustrator Guy David Gazit to create David-David-Cartoons.
Guy David Gazit
Illustrator
Israeli born and raised, Guy graduated from the Tel-Aviv University School of Film and Television in 2001. Guy attended The Israeli Animation College (IAC).
Other than illustrating several children’s books, and animating several ‘Behind the Cupboard’ musical shorts, Guy is also an award-winning screenwriter and content developer.
For the past 15 years, after relocating to Los Angeles and re-establishing his animation and filmmaking production studio, “Animation Guy,” he has teamed up with many local creative artists.
With over two decades of experience and a vast portfolio, he keeps on creating cartoons and animations for his clientele.
Guy currently resides in Hollywood, but still has no view of the Hollywood sign.
Guy now joins with David to create David-David-Cartoons.
